A festive feast of traditional and contemporary seasonal music and readings

Conductor: Michael Waldron

Our annual Christmas Concert will once again take place in the neo-classical setting of New St Pancras’ Church on the edge of Bloomsbury. As in previous years Charlotte Green of BBC Radio 4 will delight us with seasonal readings and – new for 2019 – we’re joined by Garry Richardson. Garry has worked for the BBC for 45 years, presenting on Radio 4’s “Today “ programme for 38 of those which makes him now the longest-serving member of the team. In his time he’s interviewed many of world’s most famous people, including Nelson Mandela and President Bill Clinton, plus a galaxy of sports stars (Muhammad Ali and Pelé among them) and Hollywood legends Richard Burton, Ben Stiller and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The concert will raise money for Breathing Matters, and in particular the research into Bronchiectasis which is led by Professor Brown at University College London.

Tickets will be available on the door but book online to be sure of a place at what will be one of the most wonderful evenings of the year!
