Our annual Christmas Concert will take place this year in the magnificent neo-classical setting of New St Pancras’ Church on the edge of Bloomsbury. The concert will raise money for Breathing Matters, and in particular research into Bronchiectasis led by Professor Brown at University College London.

Our guest readers are members of that elite club of people whose voices are immediately familiar (in a good way). Charlotte was a Radio 4 newsreader for many years, host of “The News Quiz”, the reader for “Quote….unquote” and – since 2013 – a mainstay of Classic FM and BBC Radio 5 Live. Brian was a Radio 4 announcer and newsreader from 1978 until his retirement and has a long-standing love of music: As a boy he played the cello, later switching to the double bass and from 1969 for 5 years was a member of The New Zealand Symphony orchestra.

Tickets are available now, so book early to save your place at what will be a wonderfully festive evening.

You can look forward to enjoying traditional choral items such as the Sussex Carol alongside more recent additions to the seasonal ‘canon’ including ‘Peace be to You’ by Paul Manz, ‘The Lamb’ by John Tavener & ‘Hymn to the Virgin’ by Benjamin Britten.
